Artificial Users is a product of Astral. These terms are short because the product is small and we would rather you read them.

1. What this covers today

Using this website and joining the waitlist. Purchase terms take effect when checkout opens, and this page is updated in the same release that opens it. Sections 2 to 5 are written now so that nobody buys anything without having been able to read them first.

2. Sessions

We sell sessions. We call them sessions everywhere, and we mean it literally: they are a record of runs you have paid for, not a currency. They are not transferable, they have no cash value, and they can be redeemed only for runs of this product.

A pack of sessions never expires. Not after a year, not after two. If Artificial Users shuts down, every unused session is refunded in full.

3. What a session is

One run: one stranger, one motivation, one report.

A session is used when the stranger reached the goal you set, or hit a blocker with a screenshot behind it. That is true however many findings the report carries, including none.

A session is not used when the run failed on our side or our gateway's, when our own per attempt spending limit stopped the run, or when the stranger never got past your entry point. A login wall with no way to sign up, deployment protection and basic authentication all count as never getting past the entry point.

This is automatic. There is no ticket to raise and nobody to ask.

4. The return

If a report is useless to you, one click returns the session. One return per pack, no form, and we never ask why. The return has no effect on what any report says.

5. The withdrawal period

Buyers in the EU and the UK have a 14 day right to withdraw from a purchase. Because a session is delivered the moment you run it, checkout asks you to request immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right for any session you have already used. Unused sessions are refundable in full within those 14 days regardless.

6. Your product, your authority

You may run this only against a product you own or have written authority to test. You confirm that once per project, in writing, before the first run against production, and we keep that confirmation with the run.

A run creates a real account and real data inside your product, and it may spend metered quota there. Staging is the default target for exactly that reason.

7. Changes

If any of this changes, the change lands in the same release as the software change that caused it, and the date at the top moves.
